1. Industrial sales

Apple, the world's number one company with a market capitalization of about 2.1 trillion $, is divided into Products such as iPhone, Mac, iPad, Wearables, Home and Accessories, and Services, which provides App Store, Video and Cloud Services.

As you can see in the chart, the percentage of sales is iPhone 44%, Mac 12%, iPad 11%, Wearbles and Home and Accessories 11%, and Services 22%.


Wearables, Home and Accessories total sales include Airpods, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Beats products, HomePods, iPod touch and Apple-branded accessories.


iPhone

iPhone 3Q total sales increased year-on-year with the new iPhone SE. Annual iPhone sales also rose with increased sales of the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.


Mac

Mac third-quarter gross sales rose due to increased sales of the Macbook Pro and MacBook Air. Annual Mac sales also rose with increased sales of MacBook Pro.


iPad

iPad third-quarter gross sales rose due to increased sales of iPad Pro. Annual iPad sales also rose due to increased iPad Air sales.


Wearables, Home and Accessories

Wearables, Home and Accessories gross sales in the third quarter rose with increased sales of Airpods.


Services

Services in the third quarter of sales increased due to increased sales of App Store, Video and Cloud Services. Annual Services revenue also increased due to increased App Store, advertising and AppleCare sales.


2. Sales by region


Apple's quarterly sales by region as of Q3 2020. You can see the increase in sales compared to the same period last year in all regions.


Apple is providing customized services to customers in each region and segment. 2020 Q3 total sales had a negative impact on sales due to the recent weakness in foreign currency against the US dollar. Each sales growth criterion is year-over-year.


Americas

America's third-quarter gross sales rose on the back of increased performance in Secvices, Wearbles, and Home and Accesories.


Europe

Europe's third-quarter total sales rose on the back of increased performance in the iPhone, iPad and Wearbles and Home and Accesories segments.


Greater China

Greater China's third-quarter gross sales were weaker in iPhone sales, but increased due to higher performance in iPad and Services.


Japan

Japan's third quarter total sales rose on the back of increased sales of the Services division and iPad and Mac.


Rest of Asia Pacific

Rest of Asia Pacific's third quarter total sales rose due to increased sales of iPhoe, iPad and Mac.


3. Income Statement & EPS

4. Enhancement of shareholder value (purchase of treasury stock, dividend)

As of June 27, 2020, the company has been granted the right to purchase treasury shares amounting to 250 billion $. Of this, it purchased treasury stock for about 155 billion $n. In the nine months ending June 27, 2020, it bought 186.4 million common stocks for about 55 billion $.


On June 27, 2020, our quarterly cash dividend is $0.82 per share. According to the decision of the board of directors, the company plans to increase the dividend every year.
